Senior Secondary (Years 10 - 12)

Year 10 students are able to select two electives to study for the whole year. These electives should be selected with a senior schooling course in mind:


The Arts: Art, Drama, Media, Music
Technology: Business, Industrial Technology and Design, Graphics and Design, Agriculture
Languages: Japanese

Year 11 and 12 students study a Maths and an English subject. Students must study six subjects or the equivalent. Opportunities may be available for students to participate in eLearning subjects in years 10, 11 and 12.

Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE)
Students in the senior phase of learning will work towards a senior school qualification known as the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). More information about QCEs can be found on the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority website.

Note: Students wishing to be considered for an Overall Position (OP) must elect to study 20 semester units of Authority subjects, i.e., they must include five Authority subjects in their course. Three of these must be taken for the whole two-year course.
