eLearning Centre

At Gordonvale State High School, we are committed to providing our students with access to a wide variety of subjects. To support this commitment, we have developed the eLearning Centre and partnerships with Cairns School of Distance Education and Brisbane School of Distance Education.  Students engaged in eLearning courses will be in a supervised classroom with access to computers, internet, telephones and text resources to support their distance education learning.  The eLearning Manager assists students who are enrolled in online courses with managing and organising their study program and facilitate extra assistance when required.  Students are expected to have their own set of headphones with built in microphone to communicate effectively in online lessons and tutorials.  The eLearning student needs to be well organised, independent and self-motivated to manage the demands of distance education learning.
